harukami cases designed by Matsuyama Yoshiki and crafted by Yanase Haruo of Yanase Washi. experience the strength alongside the gentleness of traditional handmade washi.
Yanase makes Echizen washi paper, boasting a history of 1500 years, in Goka, Fukui, Imadate Japan. these sturdy cases are created by carefully wrapping sheets of washi entirely by hand onto a mold, resulting in each piece's unique creases and folds.
just like pebbles you'd find along a riverbank, their round and natural form is designed so you can stack, collect or place them to evoke a pronounce sense of calm in your living space.

please ensure names and addresses input at checkout are accurate and up-to-date. unsuccessful deliveries due to incomplete or wrong address will be subject to additional shipping fees for reshipment.
once orders have been dispatched, we are unable to be liable for any damages or misplacement/theft in the hands of third-party courier providers.

as each piece is made by hand, we do not typically accept returns nor exchanges. in the case of a misshipment (i.e. wrong or missing item) please contact us at hello@bymidtones.com so we can make things right.
in such cases, we will require you to produce the original receipt and where applicable, item(s) to be replaced, in their original packaging.
orders returned without prior agreement will not be accepted.
