this magatama-shaped plate is perfect for serving sweets and starters. its unique shape makes a subtle statement.
made in Hayama, Kamakura by WATO - jointly helmed by metalwork artist Kasumi Ogasawara and product designer Satoshi Saito. each piece is forged traditionally by hand with a hammered finish.

• do not place in dishwasher, microwave or freezer • metal colours will change if strong alkaline or acidic substances like salt or vinegar are placed atop • black dyed products are best used with drier foods • do not leave food on surface for long, wash with mild/neutral detergent soon after use and dry promptly • to restore its original shine, gently polish it with baking soda and water, wipe off promptly - use only water for black dyed pieces |

as each piece is made by hand, we do not typically accept returns nor exchanges. in the case of a misshipment (i.e. wrong or missing item) please contact us at hello@bymidtones.com so we can make things right.
in such cases, we will require you to produce the original receipt and where applicable, item(s) to be replaced, in their original packaging.
orders returned without prior agreement will not be accepted.
